For people of all ages, this cartoon is a amazing display. I remember watching as a child and even now as an adult I mild be pleased watching it. It is one of the tremendous movies that I will be passing down to my children.

I read the other reviews below and have to disagree. I quite enjoyed this episode. It isn't really a movie but a hour long episode of the explain. the care bears mainly featured are: Tenderheart, Funshine enjoy, Grumpy have, and for you hugs and tugs fan out there Hugs and Tugs. Basicly the record is about (who else) the nutcracker who honest happens upon the carebears while they are on a caring mission. That caring mission then turns into a broad adventure when the carebears and the nutcracker try to establish toyland from a disagreeable vizier. the side legend involves hugs and tugs and a young boy trying to come by the perfect christmas deceration for the carebears christmas tree. I conception this episode was really well written and is well worth the money. esp. for those of you who like hugs and tugs and can't get many episodes of the present with them featured in them. by the design, for those of you shocked about your kids being frightened by the vizier, don't pain, he isn't that scary. basicly this episode of the carebears is honest what it says on the box, "A Heartwarming Treat for the Whole Family" (or at least for your kids if you don't like carebears) . the only thing is is that while it is the christmas episode, christmas dosen't figure into it quite as grand as you might reflect. The elements are there but it isn't as famous as it is in other reveal around the holidays. I personally Recommend This Episode of the carebears to carebears fans of all ages.

"Very well...I'm a punk!" Ah, the Cat in the Hat classic songs finally on durable DVD! Buyers out there beware! Remember that this 1971 version is the lively TV version that we all remember, while the 1972 version is essentially the book being read out loud with some pans and stop ups of the recent pages. I bought the 1972 version last Xmas and my mouth hung originate watching the book in action. However, up, up, up with this version! All the songs are classics and recall me wait on to the days when it was okay to leave the kids at home alone. A colossal, mountainous tale!

This is the version of "The Cat in the Hat" that I remember, from constant re-runs on HBO in the early 1980s. This is the version of "The Cat in the Hat" that I contemplate of, in the same arrangement that my nephew, now 3 1/2, will assume of the Mike Myers' movie as "his" "Cat in the Hat". So, I had to purchase this DVD... not unbiased to prove him, but also for myself, because I hadn't seen the whole thing in about 20 years, and recapturing my contain childhood is almost as essential as influencing his!

First, I watched it by myself. Hmm. 1971 was a lot less jarring in 1983. In 2003, the music seemed a lot... more corny, I guess. The "Fun" song, the one song on the soundtrack not performed by Allan Sherman, is heavenly terrible. However, the rest of it held up unprejudiced as I remembered it. I delight in the special feature sing-along version of "Calculatus Eliminatus", a song I had committed to memory 20 years ago, and then forgot (displaced, no doubt, by the useless Paula Abdul song lyrics that crowded up my brain in the intervening years) .

Then, I screened it for the nephew. He sat through the whole thing, mesmerized, looking away only occasionally to play with the runt Thing 2 toy he got from Burger King. He was upset when it was over and kept asking to glimpse the extra features (the "Calculatus" sing-along, and the two-minute promo for the Myers movie) . We essentially watched the whole cartoon twice.

The final verdict is that the 1971 "Cat in the Hat" holds up very well today, as both a 30 year-old and a 3 1/2 year-old gaze it. Obviously the animation is flat and dated -- but it's faithful to the book, and, of course, this is Dr. Seuss's enjoy version (Ted Geisel was producer and scriptwriter for the affair) . The music is also dated (of course), but kids won't gawk, and the Sherman songs are quiet enjoyable. The educational component is also comical -- the Cat sings his name out in seven or eight different languages, and several more made-up ones.

In other words, add this katze-in-a-hut to your collection today.

Don't listen to the previous reviewer whose only wretchedness is to complain about the format not being widescreen. This is an wonderful collection of cartoons. Instant classics and if you, like me, were a child of the 90's then they also have a lot of memories Attached to them. This location is well worth the heed. I mean six bucks a movie? You can't beat that. And you won't secure animation like this anymore. So remove them while you mild can.

It's been awhile since I watched an anime series and unprejudiced enjoyed it from animation, art, mecha designs, music, character designs, storyline, etc. I may be a slow bloomer when it comes to the fandom of "CODE GEASS: Lelouch of the Rebellion" but now I can seek how this series has captured the attention of fans worldwide.

VIDEO & AUDIO:

Buy,Download, Or Stream Code Geass: Leouch of the Rebellion, Part 1! Click Here

"CODE OF GEASS: Lelouch of the Rebellion" is featured 1:78:1 Anamorphic Widescreen. The animation and video quality is smart and digitally unique since it is a newer anime television release. What I like about the video quality is the sheer amount of people fervent. Everyone with detail, buildings, mecha and the destruction has detail. The character designs based from CLAMP's character gain concepts are unbiased original and frosty to stare at. One of the coolest looking character designs in an anime mecha series without being a full-on mecha series. Very wintry!

I watched the anime series on my 52 and then afterwards on my 24 LCD and video quality was unprejudiced big from the character animation to the backgrounds. Because this series features so distinguished spirited around Japan, this series really featured so many things in each different scene. Again, I'm very impressed with how grand went in creating a single episode.

As for the audio, the audio is English and Japanese stereo. For a television series, I was sort of expecting stereo sound but colorful some television series including Dolby Digital 5.1 on the DVD soundtracks, I was hoping that there may have been a Dolby Digital 5.1 track for Code Geass but the audio is stereo. Dialogue is certain and you can understand what the characters are saying. Both the English and Japanese dispute acting are well done.

If I had one cramped spot is that I enjoyed the Japanese deny acting a lot it's fair that Johnny Yong Bosch's exclaim acting of Lelouch sounds too similar to his Ichigo of "Bleach".

SPECIAL FEATURES:

You can accumulate really frosty special features on both volumes. Let's initiate with the volume 1 DVD:

1. Characterize Drama Episode - This is short drama episode featuring non-animated stills or drawings but featuring both Japanese and English direct acting. This one is about Lelouch and Nunnally arriving to Japan and finding their novel spot to live. Lelouch comes into contact with Suzaku.

2. Audio Commentary - There are three audio commentaries featuring the Japanese protest actor for Lelouch, C.C., the director and the screenwriter. The content talent talk about their characters and experience of working with so many tell actors and also their auditions. They are very careful not to whisper what happens in future episodes, so there is quite a bit of banter about experiences and the divulge talent asking the director and screenwriter about determined scenes. One example is the writer talking about how he fashioned one of the mecha in this series after a mecha from another anime series "Gasaraki".

3. Textless Opening

With the second volume, the special features are:

* Report Drama Episode - There are two characterize drama episodes included. One featuring the girls of Ashford Academy all at a hot bath. The diagram the characters are featured shows a limited sexy fan service as they find to know Kallen. The second drama episode features Suzaku and Rivalz talking to each other followed by Lloyd and Cecille talking to each other.

* Audio Commentary - There is one audio commentary for episode 8 and this time featuring Jun Fukuyama (Lelouch), Mitsuaki Madono (Kaname Ohgi), Kazunari Tanaka (Tamaki) and Kawaguchi (producer) . A festive commentary as the Shadowy Knight guys are together and joke around.

* Textless Ending I

When I first started seeing the certain comments in Japan, followed by the US and then watching the album become the first anime album in nearly two decades to debut at #1 on the Oricon Album Daily Charts, unprejudiced shows you the popularity of this anime series.

Having now joined the bandwagon of those who appreciate "CODE GEASS: Lelouch of the Rebellion", I can't abet but drop in treasure with this series. It's gargantuan! A lot of suspense, violence, mecha battles, worship triangles, drama, political corruption and so distinguished emotion enthusiastic in each episode's storyline and balancing it out with awesome animation, awesome artwork, really stout say acting on both Japanese and English. I really feel that "CODE GEASS: Lelouch of the Rebellion" is an qualified anime series.

The first nine episodes started with a lot of action and each episode thus far have been well-behaved. Even the commentary by the Japanese inform talent is absorbing and fun to listen to. And I like the addition of the Represent Drama Episodes as well.

With everything so obvious, the only negative, and it's really not a negative but more or less I enjoying hearing the action all around me via Dolby Digital 5.1 (especially in DTS-HD or Dolby TrueHD ala Blu-ray) is that I wished that audio was presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 but smooth dialogue is quite positive and easy to understand in stereo and the music as well.

"CODE GEASS: Lelouch of the Rebellion" is a amazing anime series that doesn't advance along to frequently. Everything about Allotment 1 so far has been salubrious and I highly recommend this DVD collection

!

When I first saw this series, I knew it was going to become a future classic. Code Geass is the myth of one man's conquest to bring down a country.

On August 10th of the year 2010 the Holy Empire of Britannia its sights plot on Japan and began a campaign of conquest. It took one month thanks to Britannias deployment of fresh mobile humanoid armor vehicles called Knightmare Frames to acquire over Japan. Japans lost it rights and its identity was stripped away, now being referred to as Place 11. Its citizens, now called Elevens, are forced to scratch out a living while the Britannians lives in comfortably within their settlements. Pockets of resistance appear throughout Site 11, working towards to free Japan from Britannia's rule. Lelouch Lamperouge, who's his right name is Lelouch vi Britannia, is an exiled Imperial Prince of Britannia who was disowned by his father after his mother was murdered. He and his sister Nunnally were sent to Japan before the war. Now judge dull, Lelouch was now posing as a student in a Britannian school. He soon finds himself in the heart of the ongoing conflict for Japan. Through a chance meeting with worn friend named Suzaku Kururugi who was now an Britannian soldier, Leluoch meets a mysterious girl named C2, who gives him the power of Geass, the power of the king. Now endowed with absolute dominance over any person, Lelouch may finally realize his goal of bringing down Britannia from within and fulfilling his two wishes: to scrutinize revenge for his mother and to produce a world in which Nunnally can live happily.

EPISODE PREMIERE: December 4, 2005

When female psychic Alex Sinclair (Jennifer Finnigan) pays Johnny (Anthony Michael Hall) a surprise Christmas visit, the two work together to solve the mystery of one very lost and confused Santa.

I'm not positive why only 3 episodes of this season were committed to the ongoing storyline of Greg Stillson (Sean Patrick Flannery), but that was a mistake. The remainder of the stories are pure escapism; animated, but no more so than any other TV reveal. The writers need to do a better job tying individual episodes to the valid chronicle.

One of the best reoccuring themes from seasons 2 and 3 was the appearance of Frank Whaley (futureman) and of Johny's future self. They ended this fable with Johny's impromptu tossing of his cane into a river. In accomplish, the writers threw away a formula that was working in favor of a purely mediocre series of fill-in episodes.

The Plain Zone is nearing it's last gasp and there doesn't appear to be any effect of recovery. The introduction of some base cabal tedious Stillson and Rev Purdie only fuels the derailment. They need to go aid to basics and focus on the just storyline of the Dull Zone without overly complicating it.

Terence Rattigan's screenplay for "The Browning Version" expands and greatly improves his short stage play of the same name. The title refers to a translation by the poet, Robert Browning, of "Agamemnon," a classical Greek tragedy. The film's protagonist, Andrew Crocker-Harris, an English private school teacher brilliantly played by Michael Redgrave, once wrote a translation of "Agamemnon," and has been trying for years to philosophize 14-year-old boys to read the Greek fresh. Because of unpleasant health and general dissatisfaction with his performance, he has resigned his spot.

In the tragedy, Agamemnon is murdered by his wife, aided by her lover. In the film, Crocker-Harris is spiritually stupid, partly from spousal "slay," although the slaughter has been reciprocal, and his wife, Millie, is in worse shape than he. In tragedies, the hero starts out pleased and becomes heart-broken. In this film, stout of the sadness of professional and domestic failure, Crocker-Harris moves away from misery, via concept and heartfelt repentance, to the possibility of happiness.

The reversal owes considerable to the intervention of Taplow, one of Crocker-Harris' students, and of Frank Hunter, his colleague and Millie's lover. The film deftly introduces these "satisfactory Samaritans" in a involving philosophize, in which they reveal the personal qualities that will compose them proper to Crocker-Harris. Both are inviting, mettlesome, good-natured, brilliant and well-rounded.

An tantalizing inquire of is why they near to the rescue of Crocker-Harris and not of his wife. Her rude brutality toward Crocker-Harris is hard to forgive, but so is his refined humiliation of students. At the outset, two immense defeats, heart disease and forced resignation, invite our compassion for him. His language, beautifully dressed, raised in pitch but never in volume, unexcited, distinct, restrained, invites attention and leaves room for helpers. Following Taplow's lead, we originate the film wondering what is contaminated, and hoping to fix it. But most primary, Taplow and Hunter delight in this man, who is really dying to be liked. They like him, and they don't like Millie.

My only criticism of the screenplay is the audience response, at a school assembly, to Crocker-Harris' farewell speech. The reaction is not realistic, I reflect, given the school's long-established dread and rejection of this man. But it is surely our reaction, after what we have fair experienced.

At the Cannes Film Festival, Terence Rattigan was awarded Best Screenplay and Michael Redgrave, Best Actor. Emphatically deserved! The film is beautifully directed by Anthony Asquith, with a gorgeous cast, especially Brian Smith as Taplow and Nigel Patrick as Hunter. (This review is based on the VHS edition.)

I watched this movie many years ago on PBS simply by chance. I have since acquired my believe copy and have watched it many times. The memoir and characters have remained with me ever since. Michael Redgrave gives a performance that is, quite simply, gorgeous. Redgrave plays an aging and sad schoolmaster at an English boarding school who, despite a promising open as a teacher many years before, has now failed as a teacher and as a husband. His wife is a nightmare -- conniving, duplicitous and unfaithful. His tolerance of her maliciousness, and of his acquire failings, is touchingly played out in one heartrending scene after another. Into this malaise comes a young student who, unlike his fellow students, recognizes the brilliance and potential of the feeble schoolmaster. When he gives the ragged man the indicate of a book of poems by Browning, it reawakens a long lost spirit. If you gaze no other movie, peer this one -- please. You'll never forget it. I never will.

Some movies are simply beyond criticism. Despite having been written off in unusual years by many mainstream critics - with remarkable repeated, off-base allegations of over-sentimentality - this is one of them. It belongs in the pantheon of truly grand films. The cynicism of the world we live in today no doubt prevents countless viewers (and critics) from looking beneath the placid surface of "Going My Plot", but it's definitely worth the misfortune.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Going My Way! Click Here

Part of this reluctance to delve may be due to the film's pastoral (no pun intended) ambience and relaxed tear, which could have inspired the producers of the Andy Griffith Expose a few years later (check out the checker game scene) . It takes its time, telling its epic on its acquire terms, and this simply doesn't sit well with the majority of original multi-taskers who've been fed a proper diet of breakneck action orgies, sophomoric sex comedies, and formulaic, artificial romantic comedies. But if you give it a chance and let it work its charms it will eventually pick up you over. To borrow a line from the film, it will "grow on you." Maybe not in the first viewing, maybe not even in the first few years...but eventually.

Its charms worked instantly on audiences in need of hope, inspiration, and a chuckle or two during the Second World War, making it a gargantuan box office hit in 1944. It even won over critics of the day: James Agee stated that "Going My Plan" "points the draw to the grand films which will be possible when Hollywood becomes aware of the richness and delight of human character for its occupy sake." It earned seven Academy Awards, including Best Portray, and a Best Actor Oscar for Bing Crosby (as Father Chuck O'Malley), who was starting his hurry as the #1 box office star for a relate five consecutive years.

Buy,Download, Or Stream Going My Way! Click Here

Not quite a comedy, not quite a drama, this slice-of-life fraction gently sets an example of all generations helping one another, ultimately working together as one extended family. While only a couple of scenes occupy set at Christmastime, the whole film is basically an enactment of how one person can compose a inequity by helping his neighbor - one of the reasons for the first Christmas. That favorable, caring attitude is infectious to the point that disparate members of an urban neighborhood eventually reach together as a community. The twist is in Father O'Malley's appealingly relaxed methods, which appear unorthodox to the staid, older, by-the-book (exiguous "b") Father Fitzgibbon, providing the conflict of the main plotline.

Fitzgibbon (Barry Fitzgerald, Best Supporting Actor Oscar winner) has been the pastor of St. Dominic's Parish for forty-five years, and as the neighborhood around him has changed, his broken-down school ways have become less effective. Gangs of unsupervised boys walk the streets getting into inconvenience (a real-life consequence of fathers fighting overseas and mothers working in war production plants during WWII), and the church is deeply in debt and about to be foreclosed on. The financial place of the church reflects the spiritually bankrupt community around it, and the physical structure itself will ultimately undergo a literal baptism by fire in order to be born again. In the meantime, young Father O'Malley is sent by the bishop to build things fair, basically being assigned to purchase over for Fitzgibbon without letting the stale man know it.

After assuming he's no longer needed, and having left in despair (only to be summarily returned by the local beat cop), the contrite Fitzgibbon eventually comes to understand and embrace O'Malley and his methods, and puts complete faith in the younger man. It all comes together in a delightfully subdued, justly renowned scene in which the two men bond over a "wee fall of the creature", as Bing endearingly intones a couple of choruses of "Too-Ra-Loo-Ra-Loo-Ral" while sitting at the convalescing Fitzgibbon's bedside (!) . When they came up with the term "shroud chemistry" they must have had this scene in mind.

Sooner or later, nearly everyone in the film gives of themselves: young Ted Haines, the son of the banker who's foreclosing on the church, leaves his father's line of work to volunteer for military service; an opera star (Rise Stevens) auditions a Father O'Malley-penned song for a music publisher, the royalties of which it is hoped will raise badly needed funds for St. Dominic's; the members of a street gang provide their (previously unrealized) singing talents for the (also previously unrealized) church choir; even the greedy banker (Gene Lockhart) forgives the church its mortgage. All the giving is sparked by the efforts and example of O'Malley, whose ultimate gift is saved for a no-dry-eye-in-the-house ending, honest before he leaves for another parish he's been called on to place.

Sentimental? Certainly. But every iota of moisture in every teardrop is earned, and one doesn't feel foolish blubbering like a fool.

That's partly due to the effortlessly calm, confident persona Crosby projects in an immaculate performance, which is the perfect counterweight to the story's inherent sentiment. Bing's acting has often been dismissed as that of someone merely playing himself (perpetuated by the self-effacing Crosby), and his Oscar score has been attributed to the fact that powerful of the reduce of `40s actors was away in the service (which was also maintained by Bing) . But objective gaze him - he carries the movie, despite sharing scenes with a couple of the best scene-stealers in the business, Frank McHugh and especially Abbey Theatre alum Fitzgerald. Crosby's acting style appears current in an era of now-antiquated theatrics. We sight across the years at him and he seems familiar, contemporary.

He handles the role of a priest convincingly - a daunting task for the best of actors in any era - and almost casually, without the slightest hint of stiffness or self-consciousness. There is no stamp of the sanctimoniuosness that frequently crept into Spencer Tracy's performances in the "Boys Town" films, and Pat O'Brien's in "Angels With Dirty Faces." Crosby's priest comes across as likeable guy, yet one who's honest tough enough to deal with whatever station is at hand - without having to exhaust his fists. Perhaps the greatest tribute to his achievement is that young men in the 1940s and `50s actually joined the priesthood because of their having been inspired by the Father O'Malley of "Going My Scheme" and its sequel, "The Bells of St. Mary's".

"Going My Way's" Oscar winning writer-director Leo McCarey probably summed up his film best when he stated his storytelling philosophy: "I fancy when people laugh. I like when they roar, I like a sage to say something, and I hope the audience feels happier leaving the theatre than when it came in." From where I'm sitting, "Going My Map" succeeds on all counts. If it doesn't for you, give it a chance. It honest may grow on you.

This is a must spy film It's uplifting expedient, and fun to inspect. All of the songs Bing Crosby sings are lovley. Rese Stevens rendition of Ave Maria, is very heavenly. Bing is sizable as a priest and plays the role so convincingly. If you seize this movie you wont be sorry. You will be in for a genuine treat. They don't construct films like this anymore. It's a classic!

This is the collection that every "Homicide: Life on the Street" fan has been waiting for - and got - befriend in 2006. For some reason it is being rereleased and repackaged. It includes all 122 episodes of the seven seasons of the unique series, the Law and Order cross-over episodes, plus the movie "Another Homicide" that aired in February 2000 and was the last we fans ever got to witness of our beloved series.

For those of you who are outlandish, "Homicide" was an novel crime drama that aired on NBC between January 1993 and May 1999. It was based on David Simon's book, "Homicide: A Year on the Killing Streets", which was based upon Simon's experiences in 1988 when he spent a year as a civilian assistant to the Baltimore Police Homicide Unit so that he could document what life was like in a tall city homicide squad. His extensive notes, interviews, and observations were eventually published as the book.

Much of the cases chronicled in the first two seasons of the present are adapted from steady events in the book. The first two seasons focus on rookie Tim Bayliss's first case - the assassinate of 11 year-old Adina Watson whose assassinate is never solved and haunts him for the duration of the series. The fresh cast was truly shiny, but to procure a third chubby season the show's producers had to delete ragged actor Jon Polito (Crosetti) from the cast and radiant up the cast by adding Isabella Hoffman as shift supervisor Megan Russert.

There was an entire episode, perhaps the best of the series, dedicated to detective Crosetti's suicide at the beginning of season three. Crosetti left no designate, and apparently had no spacious looming problems in his life. He honest chose to maintain himself with alcohol, tranquilizers, and antidepressants and then throw himself into the Chesapeake rather than return to his job after his vacation, in spite of his deeply held religious beliefs that would do you mediate this is a choice he would never have made. This is one thing you'll glance on Homicide time and time again - the writers are not haunted to leave the tough questions unanswered...forever.

Season four is also mammoth, although two more new castmembers disappear - Beau Felton and Stan Bolander. The two additions to the cast include Mike Kellerman, whose boyish, fun-loving exterior hides a cagey and complex detective with a penchant for self destruction. He is transferred from arson to homicide as a result of the befriend he renders on closing the case of an arson-related homicide when a slow body is found in a burned warehouse. Also, J. H. Brodie, a news cameraman who is fired because he gives a tape showing the attacker of an elderly woman to the police rather than to the dwelling for which he works, is also added to the cast. He is apparently meant to be an analog of David Simon. The only predicament is, Simon took mountainous difficulty to hold himself out of the anecdote while Brodie is constantly included in the state, making him a somewhat awkward although likeable addition.

By season five, the "NYPD-Blueing" of Homicide is becoming a bit more pronounced. Never having stellar ratings, the series was forced by the network to exhibit less detective work and gritty realism and more of the personal lives of the cast members. Detached, the episodes are profitable. In this season, Michelle Forbes, the recent M.E. with a "Queen of the Tedious" vibe, speeds into town and becomes fervent with Mike Kellerman. Frank Pembleton is shown recovering from the stroke he had at the kill of season four and struggling to return to tubby duty. Elijah Wood stars as a the defective sociopath son of a Baltimore assume who believes he can earn away with anything, including plotting the slay of his enjoy mediate mother. Finally, there is the apparent suicide of a long-since departed detective that turns out to be a execute.

Season six is where things originate to go downhill in the expose. At the conclusion of season five it was distinct that detectives would rotate between departments. This was old as a vehicle to introduce three largely dull and even unlikeable castmembers - Det. Ballard who actually comes from a Seattle homicide unit, Det. Paul Falsone and Det. Stu Gharty. Falsone always came across as a sneak and Stu Gharty had already been shown up as a coward in an episode from a previous season. Melissa Leo's character, Kay Howard, is now completely evicted from the series. Smooth, there are some spicy developments. In "Subway" Pembleton gets an opportunity to divulge with the dumb for a change rather than for them. Bayliss, at the ripe extinct age of 37, decides to witness other facets of his sexuality, worthy to the surprise of Pembleton. Kellerman's execution/shooting of arch-criminal Luther Mahoney in the previous season leads to all out war between the police and Mahoney's family that ends up in a shootout in the squad room and also with Bayliss taking a bullet for Pembleton. Both Pembleton and Kellerman resign from the force.

Season seven is largely forgettable. Bayliss has converted to Buddhism following his brush with death and becomes "The Zen Detective". Giardello's son joins the cast as liason between Baltimore PD and the FBI, although the two leer more like brothers than father and son - the age separation is fair not there, and neither is any semblance of a believable family connection. Michael Michele joins the cast as ex beauty queen/detective Rene Sheppard and does as estimable a job of helping this explain jump the shark as Ted McGinley could have ever hoped to do.

The main episodes from season seven worth watching include those that wrap up Mike Kellerman's anecdote after his exile at the kill of season six - the two parter "Kellerman P.I". There are also the episodes that further Tim Bayliss' character development where he is forced to shoot the killer of a Buddhist monk in self defense - "Zen and the Art of Cancel". The other storyline worth watching involve episodes on the Internet killer, who is released on a technicality but vows to Bayliss that he will destroy again. These two storylines - the Internet killer being freed and Tim discovering that he can raze if he has to - collide in the good series finale "Forgive Us Our Trespasses".

The movie aired about nine months after the series finale and has Giardello running for mayor. He is shot by a man whose son is addicted to drugs who does not like Giardello's stand on drugs as more of a treatment jam than a crime plight. The entire cast from the series - and I mean everybody - shows up in this film. Besides helping solve the case, Pembleton gets to hear one more confession - that of Bayliss admitting to the shooting of the Internet killer and demanding that Pembleton "bring him in". This is a crime that Bayliss' heart can procure past but his head cannot. As a final revelation, we inspect that the boring have ready access to coffee, but not expresso.

This is, without doubt, the best ever cop display bar none. Better even than the Wire, favorable though that is. The character development throughout the series is astounding, the dialogue is shimmering and witty, and the place lines weave wonderfully late the relationships which are in fact the main point of the display. In the best possible scheme it is in fact a cop soap!
